Suspense building techniques

This video is a tutorial on how to build suspense in a movie and some of the techniques are things that we are going to want to incorporate into are piece. The whole idea of showing the killer or in our case the ghost to the audience but not the other characters in the movie is something that we are probably going to use in our piece.

Costumes

To help create our characters we really need costumes. Costumes will establish what that character's role is in the piece. For Conor's character we want to signify even foreshadow the fate of our character. For this we want to have Conor in funeral attire as if he is ready to die.

For our ghost character we want to have him costumed in what he died in. We had the idea of his appearance getting progressively worse but this would add too much of an enigma and reveal too much of our story in too small a time. Our ghost character needs to be pale emotionless and cold. white and grey will really bring out the emptiness of our character.
